The Egyptian youth national football team, led by coach Wael Riad, celebrated the success of several of its players who passed their secondary school examinations. This celebration came in sync with the announcement of this year's secondary school exam results for the academic year 2026.
The official account of the Egyptian Football Federation shared a video on social media platforms showcasing the joyous celebrations among the players, along with members of both technical and medical staff, to the tune of the popular song 'The Successful One Raises His Hand.' The caption read: 'The successful one raises his hand... Celebrating the youth team's success in their secondary school exams.'
Friendly Match Victory Over Jordan
In a friendly match against the Jordanian youth team held recently at one of the national teams' training grounds in 6 October City, Egypt's youth team secured a 2-0 win. Mohamed Hamad scored in the 42nd minute while Anas Rashdi added another goal in the 55th minute.
The match was officiated by referee Mohamed Helmy Al-Tarjuman. Dr. Mostafa Zagazig, General Secretary of the Egyptian Football Federation, and coach Shawki Gharib were present to witness the game.
Upcoming Friendly Match
There is a scheduled rematch between the two teams for tomorrow, Friday, as part of their preparation for upcoming youth championships in Africa and Asia.
