Hadi Al-Hourani Joins WA Tlemcen

WA Tlemcen Algerian club has officially announced the signing of Hadi Al-Hourani, Jordan's international defender and Al-Faisaly player. The club's official page published a statement on Monday announcing the signing of the international Jordanian defender.

What happened?

Al-Hourani, 26, has played 6 international matches for Jordan and participated in the 2025 Arab Cup, but was not part of the team that competed in the latest World Cup. He is now embarking on his second experience outside Jordan after starting his career with Al-Ramtha before joining Al-Ittihad Al-Rabati Moroccan club in the summer of 2023 for a one-season experience. He returned to the Jordanian league in the summer of 2024 wearing Al-Faisaly's jersey for a two-season experience.

Why does it matter for Jordan?

WA Tlemcen has signed Egyptian coach Hamada Sadiq to lead the team in the new season, and has also secured several signings to strengthen its ranks in the summer transfers. Mohamed Reda Bumeshra joined WA Tlemcen from US Khroub Algerian club, alongside Anis Khemaisia, a player from Libyan Al-Hilal. WA Tlemcen has also signed Mohamed Islam Bekir after the end of his contract with AS Blida, alongside Arabi Thabti, who joined from MC Alger, and defender Suleiman Bouteljja.
