The Jordan U23 national team begins a training camp in Tunisia today, Tuesday, which will run until October 5. The camp is led by head coach Abdullatif Al-Ghandoor and includes a squad of 25 players.

This camp comes at a critical time, with the senior national team sitting fourth in World Cup qualifying with zero points from three games. The Jordan Football Association aims to achieve the highest levels of preparation for the youth team through this step, ahead of upcoming challenges. The squad list includes names such as Salama Suleiman, Mohammad Al-Shaloul, Mohammad Al-Ejali, Ahd Al-Shihadat, Mohammad Haddad, Omar Al-Khatib, Abdullah Al-Munees, Omar Khader, Salahuddin Farash, Noor Al-Din Yaseen, Adeeb Ramadan, Qutaiba Al-Jalalin, Aiham Al-Sammarrah, Qais Al-Shawashreh, Saleh Freij, Mohammad Al-BaytAR, Mohammad Al-Muhsiri, Ali Al-Naeemi, Eyad Al-Amawi, Mahmoud Dheeb, Mu'men Al-Sakit, Abdulrahman Al-Zaghaiba, Mahmoud Al-Tumizi, Nasser Al-Dajani, and Mohammad Qassem.

The team held a training session on Monday evening at Jawa Stadium before departing for Tunisia this morning. The camp is scheduled to include several friendly matches against local Tunisian clubs as part of the preparation plan. The association hopes these gatherings and friendlies will support the young national team's journey and help it progress in its upcoming commitments.

This focus on youth development follows a difficult run for the senior side, which has lost its last five matches, most recently a 1-3 defeat to Argentina in June. Fans can check the schedule for the senior team's upcoming fixtures, including the next home match against Syria on September 27, on our fixtures page.
